Epic Ambulatory Workflows

PFF physicians and staff can have a much better experience with Epic software. Appointments can be requested or scheduled directly through the internet by patients using MyChart. The appointments are managed by Cadence and pulled up in the Clinic to sign patients in. The physician, nurses and staff record the medical information in EpicCare. At the end of the visit, the billing is entered and captured for Resolute and a follow up appointment scheduled in Cadence, if appropriate. Messages about the encounter are delivered to the InBox of referring physicians. Medications have been captured by EpicCare and are available for refill requests in the future. Administrators can extract data from each of the Epic software modules for business and quality improvement analyses.
